    Mr. Jamshed Ahmad Siddiqui

    Mr. Jamshed Ahmad Siddiqui is a Consultant (Legal) at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS). He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from South Asian University and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Delhi. He also completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University. Prior to joining RIS, he worked at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, where he contributed on various legal issues on a range on matters pertaining to international trade and supported India’s free trade agreement negotiations, India’s several Free Trade Agreement negotiations, including those with the ASEAN, Chile, the European Union, Oman, New Zealand, and the United States. His work covered areas such as sanitary and phytosanitary measures and standards. Mr. Siddiqui’s interests include interdisciplinary aspects of international law, with a particular focus on international trade and investment law.
