    Dr. Dinesh Kumar is an economist and trade policy researcher with over 15 years of experience in international trade, global value chains, industrial policy, and regional economic integration. His work has consistently focused on examining how trade, investment, and industrial policies can contribute to economic development and enhance the competitiveness of developing economies.
    A Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Dr. Kumar has collaborated with leading national and international institutions, including UNCTAD, UNESCAP, the Commonwealth Secretariat, RIS, the Centre for WTO Studies, and the Institute of Economic Growth. His research spans a wide range of areas, including trade agreements, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries, regional value chains, digital trade, and economic cooperation across South Asia, ASEAN, the Middle East and Africa economies.
    Known for combining rigorous quantitative analysis with policy-oriented research, Dr. Kumar contributes evidence-based insights that support informed policymaking, strengthen trade competitiveness, and promote inclusive economic growth.
