The Centre for Maritime Economy and Connectivity (CMEC) at RIS is a research institution and a policy advisory organization under the aegis of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPS&W), Govt. of India. CMEC at RS works in the area maritime sector with reference to engagements with other maritime nations / regions / alliances, as well as India's growth in the maritime sector elaborated in the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision (MAKV) 2047 and Maritime India Vision (MIV) 2030 documents.

Essential qualification
Consultant and Research Assistant
Post-graduate in Maritime Law, Marine Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, Port and shipping management, Statistics, Data Science (IT), MBA (Shipping/Logistics), PG Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics, and any other relevant discipline.
Remuneration: Commensurate with qualification and experience
CMEC at RIS expects candidates to have an interest in research and policy related work for which there shall be ample scope in the organization. Candidates are encouraged to apply with a detailed CV giving their research related works in the related fields of interest at CMEC.
