Dr. Sarin Nambeeshan Sasikumar is Coordinator of the Forum on Indian Traditional Medicine (FITM), a Ministry of Ayush policy research unit hosted at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. His work focuses on Ayush trade and regulatory policy, multilateral health governance, and Traditional Medicine diplomacy in the Global South , including India's engagements with WHO, WIPO, BIMSTEC, and BRICS on Traditional Medicine, Traditional Knowledge and Intellectual Property frameworks. He holds a BAMS from SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan, an MPH from TISS Mumbai, a PGDMLE from National law School University of India, Bengaluru and is pursuing a PhD in Public Health focused on health systems governance towards pluralistic and integrative healthcare.
