Dr. Jaswant Singh Kain

Dr. Jaswant Singh Kain is current working as a Consultant with Centre for Maritime Economy and Connectivity (CMEC) at RIS.  He has done his PhD from Department of East Asian Studies (DEAS), University of Delhi and his MPhil in Korean Studies from Centre for East Asian Studies (CEAS), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has completed his B.A. and M.A. in Korean Language from School of Languages, Literature and Culture Studies (SLL&CS), JNU. He has worked with reputed IT Company Oracle India Pvt.

Dr. Sayantan Ghosal

Dr. P. Srinivasa Rao

Dr. P. Srinivasa Rao is a Fellow at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. Prior to join at RIS, he worked in Fourteenth Finance Commission (14th FC) Support Cell at National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA).  He also worked as Assistant Professor (Adhoc) in Economics at Sri Venkateswara College & Maharaja Agrasen College, as a Guest Faculty he worked in Deshbandhu College & Sri Aurobindo College from University of Delhi.

Cmde Sujeet Samaddar

Commodore Sujeet Samaddar is graduated from IIT Roorkee (B.E) in 1978. Samaddar began his career as an Engineer Trainee with Tata Consulting Engineers, Mumbai. Commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1980, Samaddar held various staff, four command appointments and retired in 2009 as Principal Director Naval Plans.

Paridhi Lohani is a Research Assistant (Digital) at DAKSHIN, Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), where she supports policy research through digital technologies, data analysis, and research communication. Her work spans trade data analytics, digital platforms, interactive dashboards, and AI-enabled tools that strengthen evidence-based policymaking and knowledge dissemination. Drawing on a background in computer science, economics, and software engineering, she contributes to both research and the digital systems that support it.

Mr. Amit Arora is working as Manager at Global Development Centre. He is more than 18 years of professional experience. He has worked with India’s leading IT organization and media houses. Prateek Sharma is a Consultant at RIS, where his work focuses on international trade policy, regional trade agreements, and quantitative trade analysis. His current research supports the ASEAN-India Centre (AIC) at RIS through trade potential assessments, tariff and market access analysis, and policy-oriented research. His research interests include international trade, regional economic integration, trade competitiveness, and global value chains.
