Prof. Elizabeth Sidiropoulos is the chief executive of the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), an independent foreign policy think-tank based in Johannesburg. She holds an MA in International Relations (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
Dr. André de Mello e Souza is a Senior Research Fellow at Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (IPEA), Brazil. He graduated in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1994) and has his Masters in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1997), Master in Political Science from Stanford University (2005) and a PhD in Political Science from Stanford University (2005). He has experience in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations and International Political Economy in particular. His areas of study include intellectual property; non-governmental organizations; international regimes; international cooperation for development and globalization.
