Mr. Chandan is a Research Associate at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. He is also a PhD Candidate at School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He obtained his MPhil in International Area Studies (Russian and Central Asian Studies) and MA in Politics (With Specialisation in International Relations) from SIS, JNU.
He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship in India in the subject ‘International and Area Studies’. He was also awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India for a period of two years (2010 -2012) to pursue research in the field of International and Area Studies. This fellowship was further upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for another three years (2012-2015) to continue the research. He was selected as a participant for Global South Workshop 2016 for PhD Students, jointly organized by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva and School of International Studies, Peking University, Beijing.
