Sabyasachi Saha

Dr. Sabyasachi Saha is Assistant Professor at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) since May 2014. He had joined RIS as a full time Consultant in March 2013. He obtained his PhD in Economics (2013) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi at the Centre for International Trade and Development. His academic qualifications include M.A. in Economics – with specialization in World Economy (2007) and M.Phil. in International Trade and Development (2009) from the same centre/institution. As a PhD scholar he received the WIPO Prize, DAAD funded junior fellowship for research in Germany, and Government of India Travel Grant. He was also selected for internship at the Planning Commission (now NITI Aayog), Government of India.
