Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) is a public authority funded by Government of India and therefore is bound by Right to Information Act 2005. In terms of Section 5 and Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act 2005, the following officers of this institute are designated as Public Information Officer (PIO) and Appellate Authority.
